THE YANG MING UNIFORMITY ENTERING THE PORT OF WILMINGTON AT 7:22 P.M. ON SEPTEMBER 20 After Hurricane Florence, North Carolina Ports was able to reopen for business faster than we ever thought possible — but not without some serious help. We'd like to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in helping us get back to our job of serving the people of the great state of North Carolina and the southeast region. Thank you to the United States Coast Guard, the United States Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA/MARAD, NOAA, Virginia Port Authority, Georgia Ports, South Carolina Ports, our customers and our loyal and hardworking NC Ports family. We couldn't have done it without you! After every storm comes the calm. And in our case, the community.
