This index was $437 or 35.2 percent below year-end, $612 or 43.2 percent below a year ago, and $475 or 37.1 percent below the Oct. 16, 2009, base rate of $1,279 per TEU. The last time this index was above its base level was Feb. 13, 2015. Comprehensive SCFI* REVERSES COURSE: The Oct. 30, 2015, SCFI comprehensive reading was 759, 221.27 points or 41.1 percent above the week before.
